Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable SAP ABAP Analyst (FICO) to join their team in Selangor. This role offers the opportunity to provide ongoing operational support and continuous improvement of financial business processes, introducing new functionalities in SAP Finance-Controlling and Project System modules.

What you'll do:

As an SAP ABAP Analyst (FICO), your role will be pivotal in enhancing the functionality of our client's financial systems. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, documenting, testing, delivering and supporting SAP FICO-PS solutions that meet the specific needs of the business. Your ability to design functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms will be crucial. You'll also conduct system and regression testing while facilitating user acceptance testing and training.

  • Design, configure, document, test, deliver and support SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements
  • Design and write functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms
  • Conduct system and regression testing, facilitate and support user acceptance testing and training
  • Collaborate with SAP Workstreams, Development team, various IT technical support teams onshore and offshore to design and deliver complete End-to-End solutions
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to help improve the benefit of IT system investments
  • Deploy expertise in understanding business needs and translating them into process improvements, organizational or technology solutions in line with standard methodologies and standards

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the SAP ABAP Analyst (FICO) position brings a wealth of knowledge from previous roles. With a Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field under your belt, you have hands-on experience in gathering business requirements and translating these into clear specifications for IT solution design. Your experience extends to implementing Reports, Interfaces, Conversion Enhancements, Forms and Workflows. You also have a deep understanding of integration with logistics modules SD, MM, PP. Your problem-solving skills and incident management abilities will be invaluable in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or relevant business disciplines
  • Experience in 1-2 full life cycle implementations within SAP FICO
  • Hands-on experience in gathering business requirements and clearly translating into specifications for IT solution design
  • Experience of implementing Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows
  • Knowledge of integration with logistics modules SD, MM, PP
  • Problem/incident management skills
