Senior Manager - SAP FICO

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager with a focus on SAP FICO to join their global team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multinational organisation, leading the design and implementation of innovative IT solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, process analysis and management, and their related IT requirements.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Manager - SAP FICO, your role will be pivotal in driving the definition, optimisation, improvement, and approved changes to new and existing business processes and IT solutions. You will act as the lead business analyst on projects, guiding other business analysts involved in your projects. Your responsibilities will include leading IT project design, bridging business requirements with IT solutions, providing technical support on enhancement requests, facilitating system design sessions with stakeholders, managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors, coordinating functional testing, applying best practices to business process design, maintaining project documentation, identifying project risks, understanding user-centred design processes.

  • Lead IT project design and documentation, including requirements, use cases and wireframes.
  • Bridge business requirements with IT solutions, ensuring best practices.
  • Provide technical support and feedback on enhancement requests and updates.
  • Facilitate system and data design sessions with stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships and communicate project scope and requirements.
  • Coordinate functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Apply best practices to business process design.
  • Maintain project documentation and updates.
  • Identify and manage project delivery risks.
  • Understand and apply user-centered design processes.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Manager - SAP FICO position brings a wealth of experience in SAP FICO configuration capabilities along with a deep understanding of underlying business processes across the financial domain. You should be very familiar with best business practices in designated areas. Strong communication skills and the ability to function in a matrix organisation working effectively with global core teams and local affiliates is required. You should be able to partner with affiliate including senior financial leadership team at the affiliate on the design and integration of new capabilities.

  • Expert knowledge in ERP modules, especially SAP FICO.
  • 10 – 12 years SAP experience including deep business process knowledge across the Finance space.
  • Previous experience working with a global template for large multinational organization.
  • Strong functional knowledge of FICO functionality including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Treasury, COPA.
  • Knowledge of ASAP and waterfall methodologies as well as Hybrid - Agile methodologies.
