Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable SAP MM Consultant to join their IT division. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP MM, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing requirements for process or system solutions across multiple business domains. You will be the key liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders, ensuring smooth and efficient daily processes.
What you'll do:
As a SAP MM Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to handle Change Requests and deliver projects within the agreed timeframe. You will propose and design solutions that meet the specific needs of the business while ensuring a fully integrated enterprise system. Your role will also involve identifying improvements to applications, processes, and business logic to better serve user needs. Leveraging your logical and analytical strengths in SAP ABAP, HANA/AMDP, SOAP/Rest API’s etc., you will build effective relationships with the Business/Finance team to support change requests. Additionally, you will manage vendors to ensure that their deliverables meet the set requirements.
- Handle Change Request and deliver projects within the stipulated timeframe

- Utilize logical and analytical strengths in SAP ABAP, HANA/AMDP, SOAP/Rest API’s etc.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this role should have strong knowledge on SAP MM with at least 6 years of experience and a good understanding of SAP MM business processes in procure to pay, inventory management and MM-PS, PM-MM & MM-FI integration. You should have hands-on SAP implementation experience with strong knowledge in design, architecting solutions in SAP Materials Management/Logistics Execution functionality. Experience on complete PS module cycle from project structure, Budget, PS-logistic/procurement transaction of PS to Fixed Asset settlement is also required. Your ability to manage different stakeholders such as vendor team, project team and business user will be crucial for this role. Basic understanding of SAP ABAP module and strong knowledge on SAP Integrations with 3rd party system such as SFTP, Webservices, Idocs, EDI, File transfer, API, etc. is also necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Strong knowledge on SAP MM with minimum 6 years of experience
- Experience in SAP S4 HANA
- Good understanding of SAP MM business processes in procure to pay, inventory management and MM-PS, PM-MM & MM-FI integration
- Hands-on SAP implementation experience with strong knowledge in design, architecting solutions in SAP Materials Management/Logistics Execution functionality
- Experience on complete PS module cycle from project structure, Budget, PS-logistic/procurement transaction of PS to Fixed Asset settlement.
- Ability to manage different stakeholders eg vendor team, project team and business user.
