What you'll do:
As an APAC SAP Project Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation within the organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and prioritise improvement measures run by various teams. You will also lead a team of Application Managers from different applications to ensure that development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are aligned with the overall schedule. Your role will also involve securing local improvement planning and priorities. As a project advocate, you will build enthusiasm for the project within its scope. Furthermore, you will define and monitor the project plan, budget, activities, methodologies, resources, and responsibilities for the improvement measures. You will supervise change management activities, including training and communication. Lastly, you will support business process owners in defining their needs.
- Coordinate and prioritise remediation activities run by the relavant teams.
- Drive a team of Application Managers from different applications to ensure development, UAT is on track with the overall schedule.
- Develop the improvement methodology for applications based on global team guidelines.
- Secure improvement planning and priorities.
- Act as project advocate; building enthusiasm for the project within the scope.
- Define and monitor the project plan, budget, activities, methodologies, resources, and responsibilities for the remediation.
- Supervise change management activities, including training and communication.
- Support business process owners in defining their needs.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this APAC SAP Project Lead position brings a wealth of experience from FMCG companies or MNCs or relevant industries. With at least 10 years under your belt, you have honed your project management skills and have experience in multiple life-cycle implementations. Your expert knowledge of Supply Chain and good understanding of SAP will be crucial in this role. You also possess a good understanding of integration & IT solutions. Your demonstrated business process knowledge and understanding of technology trends associated with the functional area and industries will be key to your success in this role.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in either FMCG companies or MNCs or relevant industries.
- Experience in multiple life-cycle implementations plus exceptional project management skills.
- Expert knowledge of Supply Chain.
- Good knowledge within SAP.
- Good knowledge of integration & IT solutions.
- Demonstrated business process knowledge.
- Understanding of technology trends associated with functional area and industries.
