About the SAP (PP/MM) Business Analyst Role:
The key purpose of this role is to ensure SAP ERP business functions and documentation standards are defined and adhered during the analysis, development, and implementation of systems and applications, and to work with different business departments. This position directly reports to IT Applications Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate, plan with business stakeholders and ICT team to gather local business requirements/functional specs/implementation plan to make sure M3/SAP configuration is up to date and contribute to business growth
• Be the subject matter expert in either manufacturing/supply chain/planning to make sure local business got support with global resource
• Document business requirement/function specs/solutions
• Understanding/analysing/documenting the gaps for current and desired business processes that bring the client and business team to a common understanding of the product and how it will satisfy the business requirements
• Apply system-analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with end-users to determine software, or systems functional specifications
• Analyse business activities and trends and compare analyses against the service standards and best practices. Presents findings and works with ICT team to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals
• Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet end-user needs
• Provide reference and user documentation for helpdesk teams to support applications
• Coordinate the end-to-end development and implementation of various project tasks
• Work closely with ICT Management and key stakeholders to meet project deadlines
• Build a mechanism for the user community to provide greater input and feedback
• Ensure that a safe working environment is always maintained and that the appropriate safety regulations and policies are complied with

To be succesdful in this SAP (PP/MM) Business Analyst role, you must possess experience in supporting SAP PP/MM modules.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary education in a computer related discipline, such as computer Science/MIS/business. Alternatively, relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
• PMP or similar project certification (optional)
• ITIL v3/v4 (Optional)
• Previous ERP domain knowledge is preferred, SAP PP/MM is preferred
• Familiar or understand methodology of implementing an ERP system
• Business domain knowledge is preferred in below area: Supply chain planning or execution warehouse and logistics
• Familiarity with SQL and proficient in Excel
• Communication ability:
  
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and procedures manuals
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to a wide variety of audiences from senior management end-users to peer technology specialists to internal clients and customers
  • Ability to negotiate win-win outcomes

• Reasoning ability:
  
  • Ability to understand and analyse complex business problems in order to define and develop technology-based solutions
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within the scope of responsibility along with the judgement to avoid problems escalated to a higher level
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists
