About the Regional Process Owner (APAC), SAP FICO Role:
As part of the continuous growth of the business, you will be responsible for various matters which include but not limited to standardising processes across all business domains within Regional APAC and increasing the regional organisation’s overall efficiency and effectiveness, etc.
Designing business processes considering the best interests of the organisation and the viability of execution (i.e., SoW of a new SAP implementation/process design in case of required changes)
Making decisions in the areas of the processes, e.g., finance and controlling, reporting, closure and analytics, legal requirements for finance and taxation and cross-functional topics with other supporting functions such as fulfilment, finance and controlling, reporting, etc.
Ensuring application/implementation of alliance template including the defined standard processes
Collaborating with local project teams, regional Process and SAP team in SAP template projects (roll-outs, integrations) in Region APAC (Alliance and ByD)
Leading and supporting regional business process changes and improvement projects
Collaborating and supporting the Region (APAC) in global SAP initiatives, such as upgrades or other technology changes
Executing business fit-gap analysis, identify gaps, scope changes and review alternatives (in collaboration with corporate/regional SAP consulting organisation)
Identifying, documenting, and testing new regional template scenarios, educating local business team members on best practices, supporting local teams for training initiatives (Train the Trainer) and change management, gaps in existing procedures, reviewing process performance, effectiveness and efficiency of specific core processes and intervene and remediate accordingly
Manage single-point ownership and first contact for local process owners, supporting operations of SAP (ticketing) and data migration and global master data governance
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong interpersonal communication skill, willing to travel within the region, able to work independently and effectively.
At least five to eight years of relevant business experience
Know how of the SAP Alliance setup and processes
Hands-on personality: displays energetic and self-motivated, influential personality to get ideas across, pragmatic and strong willingness to get the job done with high level of motivation, networking, problem solving, and a ‘can do’ attitude
Capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels, able to gain respect, trust and confidence of management, partners and team members
Motivated, proactive attitude and structured and effective approach to own work and time
