An interesting role of Section Head of Digital Channel Management has become available at one of the financial institution based in Kuala Lumpur.
About this Section Head of Digital Channel Management Role: This role drives strategic change and process optimisation within the organisation, particularly in areas related to digital channels and platforms (informational, transactional and engagement), that is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategies, initiatives and execution plans to further enhance digital channel ecosystem and optimise existing channels to meet prevailing business requirements
Drive the development and execute continuous review and update of the digital channel strategy/roadmap
Establish relevant frameworks and procedures to support business requirements, e.g. marketing framework, digital/mobile first policy, to enable the envisioned state for digital channels
Assess, formulate and/or recommend initiatives, including business process re-engineering, to ensure efficient and seamless internal business processes to support business needs and requirements, aligned with the overall enterprise-level and digital channel strategies
Influence internal stakeholders and partners through effective collaboration to enable digital capabilities and accelerate digital transformation to drive growth
Lead the development of proposals and business cases for Management’s approval
Collaborate with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure all initiatives and plans are aligned, comprehensive and integrated
To succeed in this Section Head of Digital Channel Management role, you are required to possess experience in managing digital channels such as mobile app and website.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field from local or international universities recognised by the Malaysia Government (Master’s degree is a plus)
15 years in a leadership or managerial role with experience as digital channel strategist and digital marketing
Strong track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies across multiple channels
Proficiency in data analysis, using insights to inform decisions and optimise strategies
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools, technologies, and trends
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
