Head of Transformation Office

An interesting Head of Transformation Office job has become available at one of the financial institutions based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting directly to the CSO, this is a role is for a leader within the transformation department.

About this Head of Transformation Office Role:
This is a new role in the organisation where the leader will be accountable for partnering with multiple leadership stakeholders across the firm to support growth objectives and implement transformational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing an integrated approach to identify, prioritise, and successfully execute a global portfolio of complex programmes. This position will have ownership over the process of coordination and execution on various target state operating models
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suites and business leads in how best to plan and execute a portfolio of change
• Partner with Business, Technology, Operations, Risk and other key stakeholders on the planning, execution, management, and resourcing of business line specific, managing project plans, dependencies, issues, and risks
• Oversee and design the approaches necessary to drive multiple programs of work to a successful conclusion
• Ensure alignment to both functional area goals and to cross-enterprise transformational objectives

To succeed in this Head of Transformation Office role, you will need to have hands-on experience leading transformation in banking, experience working in an agile environment and has implemented change through a combination of direct initiatives (own team leading) as well as through indirect influencing of other senior leaders.

Key Requirements:

• At least 16 years of overall experience, with at least five years in Transformation of a Banking Organisation, and Strategy Transformation
• Experience leading large change programs of work including transformation involving people, process, operating models, technology and ways of working
• Communicating and influencing across organisational contexts and driving long term behavioral change.
• Hands-on experience leading agile environments and delivering outcomes iteratively focused on value to the customer
• Evidence of continual improvement and self-investment (e.g. training, education, secondment into new areas)
