Assistant Manager, IT Audit (Financial Services)

In this role, you will take the lead in exploring and strengthening IT Audit practices within the organization. With a basic foundation already in place, this is your opportunity to enhance, refine, and elevate the IT audit framework to the next level.

You’ll play a key role in shaping audit methodologies, improving processes, and introducing best practices, while working closely with a collaborative team that values ideas and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute audit programs aligned with audit objectives and scope
• Evaluate IT controls and processes in accordance with RMiT and ISO 27001 frameworks
• Identify control gaps and recommend improvements / kaizen opportunities to strengthen governance and compliance
• Support the enhancement and development of IT audit methodologies, including incorporating industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the team to achieve audit goals in an effective and efficient manner
• Participate in audit activities including planning, fieldwork, pre-audit interviews, and exit meetings
• Perform additional / ad-hoc audit assignments as required by Management or higher authority
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• Passionate, driven, and eager to grow
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Degree in IT / Computer Science / Cybersecurity (or related)
• Preferably CISA certified
• Strong hands-on experience in IT Audit
• Able to work independently and bring new ideas to the table
