What you'll do:

As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst based in Subang Jaya, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of IT systems within a dynamic healthcare setting. Your daily activities will involve close monitoring of security operations centre alerts, prompt response to incident tickets, comprehensive threat analysis, and proactive vulnerability management. You will collaborate with internal teams as well as external partners during penetration testing exercises while ensuring endpoint devices remain compliant with the latest security patches. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing project designs for new applications or services, assessing cloud application security configurations, and managing endpoint detection tools. By participating in regular IT Security awareness training sessions and broadcasting bulletins on active threats or best practices, you will help foster a culture of vigilance throughout the organisation. • Monitor Security Operations Center alerts closely to identify and respond to any potential security issues affecting the organisation’s IT infrastructure.
• Ensure all tickets raised by both internal IT Security teams and external SOC are addressed promptly and closed within agreed service levels to maintain operational integrity.
• Conduct thorough cyber threat analysis and investigations into potential security breaches or incidents, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to mitigate risks.
• Perform vulnerability assessments using various scanning tools, ensuring major alerts are remediated efficiently to uphold system resilience.
• Evaluate feedback from internal and external IT Security assessments, scoring responses accurately to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review implementation designs for new and existing projects or applications, following up on remediation actions to ensure robust security standards are maintained.
• Assess cloud application security across different setups and instances, identifying areas for enhancement in line with best practices.
• Manage Endpoint Detection & Response tools by monitoring endpoint compliance, responding to alerts, and configuring policies for optimal protection.
• Ensure endpoint devices such as workstations and servers comply with security requirements including critical patches for operating systems, applications, and hardware firmware.
• Participate actively in penetration testing exercises conducted by external vendors, providing valuable insights into vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory (AD), Azure Hybrid platforms, public/private cloud architectures, enabling you to assess risks across diverse infrastructures.
• Specialised knowledge in hardening network infrastructure, IT systems, cloud applications—including API gateway security—to protect against emerging threats.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes container orchestration architecture for secure deployment of scalable solutions within modern IT ecosystems.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and other operating systems ensures you can manage cross-platform environments effectively.
• Demonstrated ability in penetration testing techniques with hands-on experience identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite or related software supports efficient documentation and reporting of findings across teams.
• Experience integrating DevSecOps principles into every stage of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) enhances overall system resilience.
• Ability to evaluate IT Security compliance during onboarding of new facilities or services ensures consistent standards are upheld organisation-wide.
