What you'll do:

As GIS Lead based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be entrusted with overseeing a talented team of security experts who are responsible for maintaining the integrity of critical systems. Your day-to-day activities will involve guiding technical resources through complex challenges while nurturing their professional growth. • Oversee a dedicated team of approximately 30 security professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to ensure high performance and knowledge sharing.
• Lead a group of around 18 security engineers in managing the lifecycle of security technologies from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Implement best practices for operational excellence by establishing metrics and service governance reporting to highlight areas for continuous improvement.
• Support strategic projects and service enhancements that align with the broader information and cyber security strategy as well as the technology roadmap.
• Champion process awareness throughout the team by identifying automation opportunities and promoting effective time management practices.
• Manage cross-functional communications between security teams, technology departments, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
• Facilitate project prioritisation, escalation management, and effective decision-making processes to maintain focus on organisational objectives.

• Solid grasp of end user platforms, network technologies as well as familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
