IT Compliance Manager

We’re looking for an experienced IT Compliance Manager to join our client in the financial services sector. This role focused on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) within the Banking technology division. The role involves close collaboration with banking partners and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain IT compliance frameworks, SOPs, and governance policies (existing structures in place).
• Ensure alignment with regulatory standards such as RMiT and DCI-PSS.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions on compliance-related matters.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to internal controls and risk management protocols.
• Act as the compliance gatekeeper for the division, ensuring independent oversight.
• Provide guidance on GRC best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory reporting as needed.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of banking regulations, IT governance, and risk frameworks.
• Proven experience in GRC, ideally within financial services or banking environments.
• Ability to write and refine frameworks, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
• Independent, proactive, and confident in managing compliance responsibilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as RMiT and DCI-PSS is highly preferred.
