Senior SOC Engineer (Healthcare, Cloud)

Our client is in search of an experienced Senior SOC Engineer to monitor and evaluate IT Security controls, manage cybersecurity threats, and ensure compliance across various platforms. The role includes performing threat analysis, managing vulnerability assessments, evaluating cloud application security, and ensuring endpoint compliance.

What you'll do:

• Monitor SOC alerts and manage cybersecurity threats, including analysis and investigations.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and manage remediations.
• Review and evaluate IT security for new and existing projects.
• Manage and monitor EDR tool configurations and alerts.
• Ensure endpoint devices comply with security and patch requirements.
• Participate in penetration and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate compliance with IT security tools and policies.
• Evaluate IT security compliance for new services or facilities and assist with audits.

What you bring:

• At least 5 years of proven experience as an SOC Engineer/Information Security.
• Knowledge of AD, Azure Hybrid platforms, and cloud architectures is highly desirable.
• Experience in Cloud Application Security such as API gateway security is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
• Experienced in penetration testing and identifying network vulnerabilities is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, assertively, and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel locally & overseas to the organization’s healthcare facilities. Having own transport is an added advantage.
