About the Cybersecurity Engineer Role:
This is a senior role responsible for leading the security operations function and report to the Head of IT Security, to design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures and solutions aligned with best practices and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the security operations function and report to the Head of IT Security. Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures and solutions aligned with best practices and compliance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system, network, and data security. Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance security
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities. Manage and maintain security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus/anti-malware solutions
• Configure and fine-tune security tools for threat prevention, detection, and response. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for compliance
• Standardise and enhance end-point host hardening and protection. Promote security awareness and conduct employee training on best practices
• Manage security-related projects, ensure on-time, within-budget completion. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and report project status to senior management
• Stay updated on emerging cloud security trends, technologies, threats, and make improvement recommendations for organisational security

To succeed in this Cybersecurity Engineer job, you must have experience in Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Intune and Defender, and on-premise firewall and IDS/IPS.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a preference for IT security-related degrees. A minimum of five years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or information security
• Proficiency in various security technologies and tools like web proxy, zero trust network access, XDR, anti-malware, VPN, and others. Proven track record of leading and managing security projects
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and compliance standards
• Previous experience in Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Intune and Defender, and on-premise firewall and IDS/IPS
• Possession of relevant industry certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, AWS, or Alibaba certifications is preferred
