About the SIEM Engineer Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the SIEM Engineer will play a key role in the IT security team’s continued development and success in this R&D-based technology organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the security information and event management (SIEM) of the organisation
• Create custom SIEM rules. Perform user requirement study, site survey, planning and design
• Be responsible for network and security project assessment, planning, design, installation, configuration, trouble shooting, commissioning, support, and maintenance
• Document system configuration and prepare technical documentation
• Manage and provide solutions to the reported support cases and technical issues, troubleshoot, debug and enhancement
• Work with threat intelligence sources (OSINT and CTI)

The successful SIEM Engineer is a highly motivated individual who can perform a very technical role within the organisation. You can communicate well, understand service delivery frameworks and ISMS concepts, and have in-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and ISO 27001 standards.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
• Minimum of three years of related work experience in log analysis, SIEM design, deployment, and integration, SOC operations, malware analysis
• Familiar with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
• An analytical mindset, a problem-solving attitude and business relationship skills
• Works independently and can manage multiple projects and task demands effectively (multitasking/prioritisation skills)
• CISSP, GSEC or GCIH certifications is an advantage
• Good communication skills
