Regional IT Security Lead

An exciting Regional IT Security Lead job has just become available at a multinational financial service company. As part of the SEA Centre of Excellence Team reporting to Head of Business Innovation, Asia; you will be assigned to lead the implementation of a regional information security programme.

About the Regional IT Security Lead Role:
You will be liaising and coordinating with other IT and business resources in the SEA region to ensure effective design, implementation and operation of IT and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Business Information Security Officer (BISO) and Information Security and Risk department to implement technology, procedures, and policies in alignment with the PI Information Security programmes
• Act as a subject-matter expert related to local regulations for information security
• Implement and test adopted NIST controls within the member company
• Coordinate the implementation of compliance requirements related to information security and privacy laws and local regulations
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the enterprise's cybersecurity safeguards to ensure that they provide the intended level of protection
• Act as a first responder point of contact for all security incidents within the member company
• Educate local employees regarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, information systems, and applicable policies, standards, and or guidelines
• Serve as a local point of contact for security education of development team and end users
• Work with BISO, ISR and business partners to facilitate vendor security assessments
• Partner with the local infrastructure teams to ensure server and workstation patching compliance and with information security and risk to manage local security exceptions within IT GRC tool
• Develop and maintain country specific processes and procedures that prevent and detect fraud, misuse, and abuse of member company assets

Key Requirements:

• Eight or more years of proven experience as an IT info security professional
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience
• Strong relationship building and communication skills with employees at all levels
• Strong research, documentation and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt and adjust in a fast-paced environment
• CISSP and GIAC certification is an advantage
