Account Manager (Associate)

An outstanding Account Manager (Associate) job has just become available at an innovative IT service provider based in Malaysia.

About the Account Manager (Associate) Role:
As a result of ongoing and continued successes, this company is rapidly expanding its sales team and seeking an Associate Account Manager to join their ranks. Reporting directly to the Account Director, you will assist in driving KPI and translate sales targets into utilisation level. You are responsible for diligently following up on timely completion of open issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client information, i.e., tracking client utilisation, reporting usage expectations, entering data into Salesforce, drafting and proofreading client correspondence/agreements, entering new client information into CRM
• Deal with banks, insurance and large corporates to ensure subscription to the organisations software solutions
• Work alongside the client’s project management team to operationalise 30, 60 and 90-day plan post go-live
• Provide feedback to the Account Director of any service issues and opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell
• Be the first point of contact for customer/client issues including billing – must have strong communication and stakeholder management
• Provide good/excellent presentations via PowerPoint
• Must have working knowledge with corporates - Banks, Telcos etc.

The successful Account Manager (Associate) must be service-oriented and client-centric.

Key Requirements:

• A background in SaaS/Software/IT. A bachelor's degree with one to two years of experience in a client-facing role
• Strong writing skills, communication skills and negotiation skills. Dynamic interpersonal skills that will enable developing strong rapport with clients
• Familiarity with or interest in business strategy, operations, and project management
• Conscientious and attentive to detail
• Demonstrated ability of agility in learning
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Self-motivated and able to deliver high-quality results
