ServiceNow CMDB Configuration Manager

Your role as the ServiceNow CMDB Configuration Manager is to oversee and maintain the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). In this role, you will develop strategies, implement policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective configuration management. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, ITIL processes, and IT infrastructure, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement configuration management strategies and policies.
• Administer and maintain the CMDB, ensuring data quality through updates and cleansing.
• Identify IT assets and their relationships within the CMDB.
• Train employees on ITSM processes and proper CMDB usage.
• Collaborate with teams to define requirements and improve service quality.

What you bring:

• Proven experience in CMDB administration and ITSM processes.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and ServiceNow Configuration Management.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, network architecture, and databases like Microsoft SQL.
• Skills in data analysis, reporting, and creating dashboards.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and independent work ethic.
• Strong communication skills with a passion for learning new topics.
