Key User System Specialist

This multinational FMCG company is one of the largest manufacturers of confectionery products and holds a huge market share within its industry. They are recruiting for a Key User System Specialist job.

About the Key User System Specialist Role:
Based in Petaling Jaya, you will be required to support ongoing functional expertise and business process knowledge, such as but not limited to upgrade the system, introduce new features, involved in training, user acceptance test and system roll outs over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being the main contact for central/support team
• Provide first line support for end users and being the local expert for this platform
• Plan and conduct training for end users
• Meet other key users from other live sites and share best practices
• Responsible for creating Incidents for bugs fix and service requests
• Coordinate testing activities including: new version and regression testing
• Specify, request, and monitor user access rights

To succeed in this Key User System Specialist role, you must have project implementation, upgrade, and roll-out experience. As you will be supporting the system as a local trusted expert, you are required to learn technical skills within the business process framework quickly.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT/Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Melayu
• Ability to learn technical skills within the Business Process framework quickly
• Good understanding of the business practices in the functional area
• Tracked records in influencing management and/or peers to adopt an improvement/manage change
• At least three years' working experience in systems environment/functional area
• At least two years' working experience in FMCG/medical/pharmaceuticals environment
• Strong commercial and business acumen with good communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Valid driver’s license. Readiness to travel to SEA clusters countries when required
