An exciting Middleware Consultant (Manager) job has just been made available at a financial services company based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Middleware Consultant (Manager) Role: Reporting directly to the IT Director, you are responsible for the planning and operation of the Middleware Platform, e.g., Enterprise Integration Platform, DevSecOps Platform, and Enterprise Monitoring and Logging, for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Middleware team in ensuring platform performance and resilience while delivering services. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive solutions using the right platforms and tools for business challenges
Align technology and business strategy by translating business objectives into actionable work streams. Utilise lean and agile project management methods to deliver initiatives and products in collaboration with Product Owners, Project Managers, and other leaders
Ensure delivery teams take ownership of operations tasks, risk management, and issue resolution by removing blockers. Promote application health and balance application and platform ownership responsibilities with project delivery
Support Strategic Delivery Partners in optimising and delivering valuable outcomes from partnered resources. Proactively address performance issues within delivery team members
Provide technical advice and direction to inform business strategy and drive innovation in an Agile way of working
Manage team operations, including project planning, resource allocation, financial management, and risk management
To succeed in this Middleware Consultant (Manager) role, you must have experience in Enterprise Integration Platform (SAG webMethods ESB), DevOps or DevSecOps Pipeline, Enterprise Monitoring and Logging Software Engineering, and Agile/Scrum Methodology.
Key Requirements:
Diploma/Degree holder in IT or related fields. Eight or more years of experience in IT and technical divisions
Three or more years of experience in Enterprise Integration Platform (SAG webMethods ESB), DevOps or DevSecOps Pipeline, Enterprise Monitoring and Logging Software Engineering
Three or more years of experience within Agile/Scrum teams, either as an architect, developer, product owner, or Scrum Master
Excellent knowledge and experience in applying Agile and lean approaches in IT operations
Experience in leading teams responsible for managing enterprise platform operations
Experience in developing and managing budgets, ensuring strategic budgetary alignment, procuring necessary resources, measuring outcomes, adapting to resource reductions, reducing scope when necessary, and implementing oversight and governance
Experience in leading cross-functional teams to develop innovative services and ensure the platform meets business and technology needs
