Cloud Solution Architect

An exciting Cloud Solution Architect job has just become available at one of the growing IT services companies based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Cloud Solution Architect Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for consulting clients on the technical requirements and values propositions of cloud product, and participating in the architecture and designing of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a key member of the technical team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the cloud platform
• Own each technical engagement, and ensure a timely and successful delivery of value
• Cooperate with the sales team in planning and implementation leading to the growth of customer cloud adoption
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using cloud
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support team

To succeed in this Cloud Solution Architect role, you must have strong understanding of cloud solutions and design with the key ability to manage and deal with clients. Team leading and people management skills is a big plus.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• More than five years of experience in the client-facing environment
• More than five years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications
• One year of architecture experience in cloud infrastructure, databases, or application development
• Able to articulate well in both Mandarin and English, as the candidate is required to work with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Team leading and people management experience is a big plus
• Self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset is highly required
• Open to working in a startup/SME environment
