An exciting DevOps Engineer job opportunity has just become available at an IT services/IT consulting start-up based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the DevOps Engineer Role:
In this role, you are responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build new development tools and infrastructure and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate development and release processes. Ensure that systems are secure against cyber threats
- Identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes. Test and examine code written by programmers and analyse results to ensure it follows established processes
- Plan out projects and be involved in project management decisions
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop application to automate visualisation and to integrate with internal backend systems
To succeed in this DevOps Engineer job. You must have a strong background in software engineering and/or are familiar with .NET Core or Python programming.
Key Requirements:
- BSc in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Proficient with git and git workflows. Good knowledge of .NET Core or Python
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Experience with cloud technology such as AWS, Azure or Ali cloud
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (due to the client’s needs)
