DevOps Engineer (Linux OS)

An exciting DevOps Engineer (Linux OS) job has just become available at one of the leading banks based in Cyberjaya.

About the DevOps Engineer (Linux OS) Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with developers build, provision and maintain DevOps tools, CI/CD pipeline, conduct automated deployment, container orchestration and infrastructure as code activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new capabilities for CI/CD setup, DevOps pipeline and workflow
• Develop scripted procedures and automation for common tasks
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship on how to create software that is easily scalable to the development and operation teams
• Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters
• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
• Work with developers and scrum masters to improve pipeline and DevOps processes

To succeed in this DevOps Engineer (Linux OS) job, you must have at least three years of working experience in Linux operating system, Windows, Groovy, Python, JavaScript, Java, .Net, ELK, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, Sonarqube, Nexus and scripting.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of five years' hands-on-experience in building continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment pipelines and managing DevOps tools and workflow
• Minimum of three years' work experience in Linux operating system, Windows, Groovy, Python, JavaScript, Java, .Net, ELK, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, Sonarqube, Nexus and scripting to do integrations through API, CLI for extracting data and to perform automated operations
• Hands-on experience in Blackduck hub, Blackduck Binary Analysis, Coverity, Nexus Firewall/IQ, Contrast and Container Security tools
• Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines for Microservices, Containerised applications in any Container platform
• Experience in Automated Deployments and Infrastructure as Code tools. Also, experience in Shell Scripting, Batch Scripting to do automation, command line integration and invoking REST API using postman is mandatory
• Expertise with JIRA workflow creation and modification, customise JIRA projects and all other JIRA components to suit the needs of project teams, Agile coach, Project Managers and PMO team
