• Lead and deliver comprehensive end-to-end data consulting projects by managing all phases from initial requirements gathering through to solution implementation and post-delivery support.
• Assess client organisations’ current data maturity levels and provide expert recommendations on strategies, roadmaps, and best practices tailored to their unique needs.
• Design robust and scalable data architectures, pipelines, and analytics solutions using both cloud-based and on-premise technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Drive the development of effective data models while overseeing ETL/ELT processes and spearheading complex data integration initiatives across multiple systems.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels to understand their business challenges and translate these into actionable technical solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
• Support pre-sales activities by contributing to proposal development, project scoping sessions, and delivering compelling solution pitches that address client pain points.
• Mentor junior consultants within the practice by providing guidance, sharing expertise, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Contribute actively to internal knowledge-building efforts by developing best practice frameworks, reusable assets, and thought leadership materials for the wider team.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards in data governance, security, and management throughout all project phases to maintain client trust and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Statistics or a related discipline demonstrating strong foundational knowledge.
• At least 5–7 years of hands-on experience in roles focused on data engineering, analytics or consulting within reputable organisations or consultancies.
• Proficiency with modern data technologies such as SQL for database management; Python for scripting; Spark or Databricks for big data processing; or similar platforms relevant to large-scale analytics.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including familiarity with their respective toolsets for storage, processing and analytics.
• Comprehensive understanding of core concepts such as data modelling techniques, principles of data governance and best practices in enterprise-wide data management.
• Exceptional communication skills enabling you to present complex insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders while fostering positive relationships built on trust and empathy.
• Previous consulting experience is highly valued—particularly if you have managed client-facing engagements involving problem solving and successful project delivery under tight timelines.
• Strong analytical thinking abilities combined with critical reasoning skills that allow you to break down intricate issues into manageable components for effective resolution.
• Experience working collaboratively within teams where knowledge sharing is encouraged alongside individual accountability for results delivered.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with BI/visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik; exposure to machine learning or data science projects; certifications in cloud data engineering (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate or AWS Data Analytics Specialty).
