MLOps Engineer

What you'll do:

As an MLOps Engineer based in Selangor, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment where your expertise in machine learning operations will be crucial for running robust AI platforms. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams from different countries to deploy, monitor, and optimise custom-built AI solutions. You will take ownership of maintaining high availability for critical systems while developing scalable backend applications using modern containerisation tools. • Run and maintain AI/ML products by ensuring continuous uptime and optimal performance across various platforms.
• Develop backend cloud applications using Kubernetes and Docker to support custom AI solutions.
• Programme in Python and utilise cloud technologies such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenShift for deploying machine learning models.
• Maintain and enhance in-house developed GPT solutions as well as other bespoke AI products.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs that serve as the backbone for AI-driven applications within the organisation.
• Optimise performance and scalability of models and backend components to meet strict service level agreements (SLAs).
• Proactively respond to service requests and incidents to ensure seamless operations of all deployed products.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles alongside CI/CD processes for efficient deployment cycles.
• Evaluate emerging technologies or architectural patterns to recommend improvements for existing services.

• Proficiency in Python programming is mandatory along with the ability to quickly learn additional languages as needed by project requirements.
• Experience working with SQL databases is necessary for managing data pipelines effectively.
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, Pydantic is considered a strong advantage for building robust APIs.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI endpoints or large language models (LLMs) would be highly beneficial for supporting advanced AI initiatives.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers and databases enhances your ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Expertise in Azure services related to data science is preferred; additional experience with GCP or OpenShift further strengthens your profile.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker is vital for developing scalable backend applications supporting AI workloads.
