What you'll do:

As a Data Protection Platform Manager, you will be entrusted with guiding the evolution of enterprise-wide technology platforms that underpin the organisation’s most sensitive operations.   • Lead the design and engineering of secure, scalable data platforms that meet stringent compliance requirements across multiple regions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end security strategy for unified data platforms, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive operational excellence by optimising system performance, availability, and scalability throughout the enterprise technology landscape.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives by integrating modern technologies seamlessly into existing IT infrastructure.
  • Establish robust governance models, enforce security standards, and implement risk mitigation strategies in line with global compliance mandates.
  • Design and deploy automated security monitoring systems, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage identity and access controls for critical applications.
  • Promote adoption of CI/CD practices, DevOps principles, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies across all platform deployments.
  • Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery planning and high-availability solutions for mission-critical systems supporting business continuity.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to align technology solutions with strategic organisational objectives.
  • Mentor engineering and operations teams by fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your proven experience as a Data Protection Platform Manager will enable you to bring valuable insights into enterprise technology management within highly regulated environments. Your background includes hands-on involvement in cloud operations using AWS or Azure alongside expertise in deploying security tools such as Kubernetes or Vault. Your understanding of ITIL processes combined with agile project delivery ensures smooth execution of complex initiatives. With deep knowledge of data encryption methods and regulatory compliance standards like GDPR or HIPAA under your belt, you are well-equipped to maintain robust platform security.   • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is required for this role.
  • Proven track record in enterprise technology management, cybersecurity implementation, and cloud operations within complex global environments is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as AWS CDK or Azure Bicep is highly valued.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ITIL processes, Agile project delivery methods, and enterprise IT governance frameworks is necessary.
  • Leadership experience managing engineering teams with a focus on scaling capabilities in collaborative settings is important.
  • Expertise in data encryption techniques, key management protocols, secure storage solutions, and access control mechanisms is required.
  • Hands-on proficiency with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP as well as security tooling like Terraform, Kubernetes, Vault, HSMs, SIEM systems, DLP solutions is expected.
  • Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Go or Java are desirable for developing secure automation scripts.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA or PCI-DSS is crucial for maintaining platform integrity.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure, AWS ecosystems along with Databricks or Palantir platforms enhances your ability to deliver effective solutions.
