Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud to join their global team. This role offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement by supporting stakeholders, enhancing existing reporting, and guiding on new developments. You will be instrumental in providing insights to improve alignment between data, reporting, company processes, KPIs, and Core Value Drivers.
What you'll do:
As a Data Analyst (SAP Analytics Cloud), you will play a pivotal role within the Global Operations Reporting Team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive continuous improvement initiatives by supporting stakeholders in enhancing existing reports while also guiding them towards new developments. Your ability to analyse complex data sets will be crucial in identifying trends, responding to business challenges, recognising opportunities for improvement, and ultimately helping the business thrive.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis for problem-solving and decision making.
- Offer insights to improve alignment between data and reporting with company processes, KPIs, and Core Value Drivers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all hierarchy levels of the organisation.
- Help realise and understand reporting and data requirements, providing solutions and guidance on best practices.
- Analyse and translate complex data sets to identify trends, respond to business most relevant questions and challenges.
- Recognise opportunities for continuous improvement on reporting and business processes.
- Access and leverage data analytics tools for Problem Solving, Project and Work Management.
- Support Enterprise Analytics transition to new SAP tools.
What you bring:
As an ideal candidate for the Data Analyst (SAP Analytics Cloud) role, you bring along a wealth of experience in data analytics. Your proven track record in designing and creating reports using tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI, Tableau or similar is essential. Your excellent communication skills will be put to good use as you interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Your problem-solving abilities and process-driven mindset will be key in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your technical proficiency in SAP ERP, preferably SAP/S4 HANA, coupled with your advanced Excel user skills, will be crucial for success in this role.
- Proven experience in data analytics with demonstrated experience designing and creating reports using PowerBI, Tableau or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills with high interaction with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving abilities with a process-driven mindset.
- Technical proficiency in SAP ERP, preferably SAP/S4 HANA.
- Advanced Excel user skills.
- Knowledge in SAP DataSphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SQL would be valuable additions.
- Ability to support Enterprise Analytics transition to new SAP tools.
- Experience working in a global operations reporting team.
