About the Data Scientist Role:
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will deliver innovative technology-enabled auditing solutions including the delivery of data-driven tools providing insights for the Global Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovate solutions to enable full population testing
• Develop knowledge of data sources, structures, meta-data, etc. existing in countries for possible use by the audit team
• Champion the use of data analytics and other technology in audit processes
• Engage stakeholders to understand and collect requirements, present analysis and or results, make recommendations on strategy formulation, and solicit feedback

To succeed in this Data Scientist role, you will need to have strong analytical abilities to translate technical findings into easy to understand business insights and recommendations.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in one or more analytically oriented programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS or similar
• Extensive technical skill in data mining, able to understand various data structures both structured and unstructured and common methods in data transformation
• Knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques
• Experience with analytics tools such as process mining or cloud analytics platforms is a plus. This extends to visualisation tools such as QlikSense or other business intelligence tools will be highly advantageous
