About the Head, Analytics & Reporting Role:
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will lead and guide the data analytics team the team in their journey towards predictive analytics and ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and lead the data analytics team
• Analyse data, identify pattern and summaries problem statements and develop solutions or alternative practices
• Perform customer centric analysis and identify customer persona for business strategies and initiatives
• Provide analysis and regular business reports to respective committees, task force and business units for business monitoring
• Provide oversight and advisory on data quality and management reporting
• Provide regular and ad hoc reports and surveys as requested by regulators

To succeed in this Head, Analytics & Reporting role, you will need to have experience in traditional analytics as well as a passion for introducing data science initiatives to the team.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree - data analytics, data science, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or other related quantitative studies
• At least five years of experience in data analytics
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Good knowledge of the industry and regulatory guidelines and practices in general insurance is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAS, Power BI, R, Python, SQL
