Senior Warehouse Executive/Lead

A leading MNC organisation is seeking a Senior Warehouse Lead to join their Logistics Department. What you'll do

You will play an essential role in optimising end-to-end warehouse operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve coordinating shipments with various stakeholders to guarantee timely delivery of products. You will oversee both inbound and outbound activities—ranging from goods receiving to picking and packing—ensuring that every step aligns with operational priorities. Supporting production warehousing is central to this role; you will manage the flow of raw materials, packaging supplies, work-in-progress items, and finished goods so that production schedules are met without delay.

• Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments by ensuring documentation is accurate and completed on time while liaising with freight forwarders, transporters, and hauliers for smooth execution.
• Release outgoing shipments to appointed partners and arrange local deliveries according to operational requirements.
• Perform daily warehouse operations including inbound activities such as goods receiving and container loading or unloading, outbound activities like picking and packing, as well as general material handling tasks.
• Manage production warehousing activities by supporting daily operations related to inbound storage, picking, issuing, returns of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods.
• Ensure timely and precise issuance of materials to production lines in accordance with established schedules while overseeing movement between production stages with proper documentation.
• Execute SAP transactions accurately for goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and RMA-related movements while maintaining correct system records of all material movements.
• Monitor inventory control by maintaining accurate records in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA systems; conduct cycle counts; lead physical stock takes; investigate discrepancies; and resolve variances effectively.
• Maintain compliance by ensuring all warehouse and shipment documentation meets company policies; file and archive documents according to record-keeping requirements and audit standards.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and other warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations while supporting internal and external audits related to inventory processes.
• Prepare operational reports detailing inventory status, stock variances, key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute actively to safety standards by maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

What you bring:

To thrive in this role within logistics sector requires proven experience managing complex warehousing functions within production environments. Your educational background in Logistics or Supply Chain Management equips you with theoretical knowledge that complements your practical expertise gained over several years in similar roles. Familiarity with SAP systems allows you to handle transaction processing efficiently—a critical skill given the volume of goods moving through the facility each day.

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related fields provides a solid foundation for success in this role.
• At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience within the production warehousing industry ensures you are familiar with best practices in logistics operations.
• Proficiency in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA systems is highly desirable as it enables accurate transaction processing for goods receipt, issue, stock transfers, and RMA movements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while collaborating cross-functionally with internal departments such as Production, Planning, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and warehouse teams.
• Excellent communication skills allow you to coordinate effectively with freight forwarders, transporters, hauliers as well as internal stakeholders for smooth shipment execution.
• Strong planning abilities coupled with problem-solving skills enable you to address challenges proactively within fast-moving warehouse environments.
• Valid forklift license is required; however training can be arranged if you do not currently hold one so long as you demonstrate willingness to learn new skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety standards ensures a safe environment for yourself and colleagues at all times during daily operations.
• Experience preparing operational reports including inventory status updates enhances transparency across the department while supporting audit requirements.
• Willingness to work shifts—including weekends or extended hours when necessary—demonstrates your dependability in meeting business needs.
• Experienced dealing with mandarin speaker stakeholders will be added advantage.
