Distribution Centre Manager (Retail)
Our client is seeking a seasoned Distribution Centre Manager to oversee their bustling operations in Selangor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a busy distribution centre, ensuring smooth end-to-end supply chain processes to retail stores across Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory management, warehouse and logistics management, and process improvement implementation.
What you'll do:
As the Distribution Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of the distribution centre. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the complete end-to-end supply chain to all retail stores across Malaysia, ensuring order fulfilment is accurate and minimising delays. You will also be tasked with implementing process improvement strategies, supervising and motivating team members, coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and partners (3PL), as well as managing the distribution centre budget and optimising operational costs.
- Lead and manage daily operation of the distribution centre

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Distribution Centre Manager position will bring a minimum of 8 years of operations experience. You should have proven experience in leading and managing teams, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain processes. Your ability to implement process improvements will be crucial in this role. Experience in coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and partners (3PL) is also required. A Lean Six Sigma certification would be an added advantage.
