Head of Warehouse (FMCG)

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Warehouse to lead their logistics and planning activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of the entire logistics team, manage outsourced 3rd party logistics providers, and optimise warehouse space for continuous production. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting supply chain process improvements and cost savings initiatives, while ensuring effective inventory management.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Warehouse, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising warehouse and logistics movements. Your leadership skills will be put to use as you lead the entire logistics team's performance, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. You will also manage outsourced 3rd party logistics providers, ensuring that they deliver on time and within budget. Your role will involve optimising warehouse space to allow for continuous production, supporting supply chain process improvement and cost saving initiatives, and ensuring good inventory management.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Head of Warehouse position brings a wealth of experience in managing warehouses. Your strong team management skills and proven leadership abilities will be crucial in leading the entire logistics team's performance. Experience dealing with customs would be advantageous, as would an education in logistics or business administration. Familiarity with SAP is also highly desirable.
