About the Assistant International Warehouse Operations Manager Role:
As the Assistant Operations Manager, International Warehouse, your primary responsibility is to provide clear directions and guidance to international warehouse subordinates regarding daily routines and reporting methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support managers and stakeholders in all operational aspects to achieve desired supply chain business results
• Assist in troubleshooting any system issues within the international warehouse to ensure smooth operations
• Identify and communicate any issues or concerns from the warehouse to top management
• Mentor and guide the local warehouse team on reporting requirements specified by the top management
• Drive cross-functional teams to implement process changes and improvement initiatives
• Analyse performance, capacity, and forecast planning of international warehouse distribution, and propose operational changes accordingly
• Collaborate and coordinate with the local warehouse manager to implement new projects and update warehouse processes
• Assist the warehouse department in reviewing work processes and proposing appropriate solutions to address any arising issues
• Foster strong relationships and integration between the warehouse department and other department's project plans and operations
• Coach and guide warehouse team members during new project implementations, such as warehouse shifts, new warehouse setups, and stock takes
• Oversee project deliveries, making necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to specifications and high standards
• Monitor project progress and time lines across team members to meet project objectives
• Travel internationally to support new warehouse setups, expansion projects, and other assigned tasks

To succeed in this Assistant International Warehouse Operations Manager role, you must possess at least four to five years of relevant experience in warehouse operations.

Key Requirements:

• Readiness to relocate internationally to provide operational support
• Understanding and respect for cultural sensitivities, particularly in international and cross-cultural interactions
• Exemplary leadership, organisational, analytic, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in both operational and strategic planning
• Demonstrated effectiveness and efficiency in work performance
• Strong command of written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in multiple languages is considered advantageous
• Capability in identifying work process issues and implementing improvements
