Senior Trade Compliance Specialist (Manufacturing) Our client is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive compliance and establish operational policies in the manufacturing sector.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving compliance within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include developing standard operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the smooth flow of goods.

• Developing and establishing standard operational policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Communicating clear guidance on Trade Compliance, customs, and international regulatory compliance
• Resolving customs broker escalations on regulatory compliance issues
• Engaging with customs and other government authorities
• Conducting process compliance audits
• Analyzing data for cost/service decisions, recommendations, and process improvements
• Producing monthly reports and metrics for management

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Trade Compliance Specialist role brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Business or equivalent or higher
• Experience in Transportation Logistics, Freight Forwarding Logistics operating/functional role & responsibilities
• Knowledge of import/export customs & trade compliance regulations in APAC Region
• Familiarity with customs brokerage operations and processes
• Solid understanding of the principles of supply chain management, international logistics and trade regulations
