What you'll do:
As a Trade Compliance Manager, you will immerse yourself in the intricacies of global customs regulations by managing the end-to-end process of classifying products, raw materials, and trading goods.
- Classify products, raw materials, and trading goods in strict accordance with both national and international customs regulations to ensure full compliance at all times.
- Maintain comprehensive internal product classification data within ERP systems, guaranteeing accuracy and accessibility for all relevant stakeholders.
- Provide clear guidance and thorough documentation to support customs compliance efforts as well as broader regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes to ensure all product classifications remain current and aligned with the latest legal standards.
- Support internal initiatives aimed at optimising classification processes and workflows by identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Engage in regular analysis of regulatory texts to interpret their implications for product classification strategies.
- Contribute actively to cross-functional projects designed to enhance overall trade compliance frameworks within the organisation.
- Participate in audits or reviews related to customs classification activities, providing necessary documentation and insights as required.
What you bring:
To excel as a Trade Compliance Manager, your background should reflect hands-on experience in customs classification and a deep understanding of how regulatory frameworks impact international trade.
- Demonstrated experience in customs classification and proven ability to interpret complex regulatory texts accurately and apply them effectively within a business context.
