A leading player in the food and beverage retail sector is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance their end-to-end supply chain operations across all outlets.

What you'll do:

As Supply Chain Manager, you will play an instrumental role in orchestrating the seamless flow of goods from suppliers through warehouses to outlets.

  • Oversee the entire supply chain process including demand planning, procurement, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution to ensure seamless operations across all restaurant locations.
  • Guarantee uninterrupted supply of food products, packaging materials, and non-food items to support daily outlet requirements and customer satisfaction.
  • Align supply chain strategies with sales forecasts, promotional activities, new store openings, and seasonal fluctuations to optimise resource allocation.
  • Lead supplier evaluation processes, negotiate contracts effectively, and conduct regular performance reviews to maintain cost competitiveness and quality compliance.
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives throughout procurement, logistics, and inventory holding while maintaining high standards of quality and service delivery.
  • Monitor key cost drivers such as food costs, wastage rates, freight charges, and storage expenses; implement corrective actions when necessary to protect margins.
  • Establish robust inventory policies aimed at minimising expiry risks and reducing write-offs while ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to improve stock accuracy, reduce operational disruptions, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

What you bring:

To excel as Supply Chain Manager, your background should reflect substantial hands-on experience managing end-to-end supply chains within fast-paced environments such as quick service restaurants or large-scale F&B operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field is essential; postgraduate qualifications would be advantageous for this position.
  • At least 5–8 years’ experience managing complex supply chains within the food & beverage industry is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food supply chains including cold chain management principles for high-volume operations is required.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office applications are expected for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation techniques coupled with proven vendor management capabilities is vital for securing best-value agreements.
  • Exceptional planning abilities combined with analytical thinking skills enable you to anticipate challenges before they arise.
  • Sound knowledge of cost structures along with awareness of financial impacts ensures responsible decision-making throughout the supply chain process.
