APAC Supply Chain Project Coordinator (6 Months Contract)

A leading organisation is seeking an APAC Supply Chain Project Coordinator for a 6-month contract based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in documenting and harmonising supply chain processes across 11 diverse APAC markets, supporting future transformation and governance initiatives.

Job Scope :

  • Collect, review, and document current supply chain procedures across all APAC markets including demand planning, inventory management, replenishment, logistics, re-packing, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with headquarters and the APAC Supply Chain Team to develop clear and standardised operating procedures that enable effective working practices.
  • Establish agreed-upon methods for extracting information and documenting it in an accessible format that is easy to find and understand in English.
  • Liaise with local market supply chain teams to gather accurate information through meetings and direct engagement.
  • Facilitate meetings designed to extract detailed process information from stakeholders across multiple cultures and markets.
  • Identify key stakeholder communication points and ensure expected communications are provided throughout the documentation process.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with both regional and global standards where applicable, maintaining consistency across markets.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in current processes and flag these areas for future harmonisation efforts.
  • Maintain progress dashboards and status reports for leadership to track project milestones effectively.
  • Consolidate all documentation into a central repository that is easily accessible for future reference by internal teams.

Your background as an APAC Supply Chain Project Coordinator will demonstrate proven experience as follows :

  • Demonstrated experience of six to eight years within supply chain operations covering multiple functions such as planning, warehousing, logistics or customer service.
  • Proven track record of three to five years managing projects involving process mapping or documentation within an international context.
  • High proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities paired with strong project management skills enabling you to coordinate tasks across multiple markets efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different cultures while building trustful relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for effective reporting and documentation.
  • Process discipline with rigorous attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all aspects of documentation work.
  • Experience in process mapping techniques that facilitate clear understanding among diverse teams.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills allowing you to facilitate productive meetings and extract relevant information from subject matter experts.
  • Commitment to cross-functional collaboration within a supportive team environment.
