Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee their MRO services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and supervise all supply chain related operations, including procurement, warehouse, logistics, and tooling.

What you'll do:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supervising all supply chain related operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the security and regulatory compliance of all stores, carrying out regular stock takes, and implementing controls for received parts and materials. You will also oversee logistical matters relating to aircraft parts/materials, liaise with the Malaysian Customs Department on importation matters, and implement effective procurement strategies. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships in line with company procedures and policies, as well as implement tooling control strategies.
- Ensure all stores are secured and in full compliance of regulations applicable.
- Carry out annual or bi-annual stock take to ensure accuracy of stock held vs stock listing.
- Implement controls to ensure all parts/materials received and stocks held are in full compliance of the national airworthiness authorities' regulations.
- Maintain overview of all aircraft parts/materials logistical matters.
- Liaise with Malaysian Customs Department in respect of all aircraft parts/materials importation matters.
- Implement effective procurement strategies ensuring aircraft parts/materials procured are in accordance with Company MOE requirements and timely.
- Manage all existing and new vendors in compliance to the latest Company procedures and policies.
- Implement effective tooling control strategies to ensure compliance with Company MOE at all times.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Supply Chain Manager role will have a degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant business studies or technical studies such as engineering or IT. You should bring a minimum of five years' experience in Supply Chain or Warehousing or Procurement, with proven experience managing a team of staff. A good understanding of the aviation industry and import/export requirements is essential. You should have the ability to work under pressure, possess your own transport, and hold a valid passport.
