About the Supply Chain Manager Role: Functionally and administratively reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, this role requires you to execute and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end supply chain management, including import/export, order processing, customer service, inventory management, and distribution to customers
Provide shared services to support invoicing, purchase order management, and inventory control for a renal service provider
Drive the implementation of local, regional, and global strategic plans, fostering change management and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Lead and manage a high-performance team responsible for import/export operations, order processing, customer service, and third-party logistics
Implement and enhance supply chain processes to optimise service levels, maximise profitability, and adapt to dynamic market conditions
Actively engage in daily operational tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality results alongside team members
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, guiding and inspiring the supply chain team toward achieving goals and objectives
Support the career development and skill enhancement of team members, addressing performance issues and collaborating with HR on re-development programmes
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers/service providers, evaluating their performance and striving for best-in-class standards
Monitor and improve service levels, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
To succeed in this Supply Chain Manager role, you will need to have a minimum of five years of experience in the function of demand planning, inventory management, order processing, customer service, logistics management and distribution.
Key Requirements:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in economics, business, supply chain or related
Strong ERP knowledge, with SAP proficiency being advantageous
Familiarity with Good Storage Practice (as prescribed by the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau) and Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD) is a plus
Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to travel as needed
Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to anticipate and adapt to change
Effective communication and partnering skills, fostering collaboration across all organisational layers and developing connections with other functions and regions
