About the Supply Chain Manager (F&B) Role: Functionally and administratively reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain, this role requires you to execute and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations within the F&B business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee distribution partners, ensuring supply assurance, inventory management, and risk mitigation
Develop and execute demand forecasting strategies for Singapore and Malaysia markets, incorporating historical data, market trends, and external factors
Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to align on demand projections
Analyse demand patterns, adjusting forecasts for accurate inventory levels
Enhance forecasting methods and tools for improved accuracy
Communicate demand forecasts to suppliers for efficient supply chain operations
Optimise inventory processes for cost-effective demand fluctuations management
Liaise with logistics and distribution teams for smooth product flow
Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities within the supply chain
Monitor and manage inventory, making replenishment recommendations
Review and enhance carton configurations
Leverage knowledge of freight forwarders for cost optimisation
Serve as the primary contact for outlets regarding logistics, operations, and distribution
Collaborate with marketing to align campaign objectives, target audiences, and messaging
Lead campaign planning, execution, and alignment with supply chain capabilities
Monitor campaign performance, making real-time adjustments
Manage external partners, vendors, and agencies
Analyse campaign results to inform future strategies
Cultivate relationships with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and suppliers
Provide market-specific insights and recommendations
Ensure alignment of supply chain and marketing strategies to achieve shared goals
To succeed in this Supply Chain Manager role, you will need to have a minimum of five years of experience in the function of demand planning, inventory management, and logistics management within the F&B industry
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
Proven experience (six or more years) in supply chain management, demand planning, and marketing campaign execution within the fast food, food and beverage, or related industries
Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision making
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand forecasting software)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration
Familiarity with the Singapore and Malaysia markets, including cultural nuances and business dynamics
Strong written and spoken English proficiency
