A global connectivity manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Chain Manager. In this job, you will manage its supply chain functions to streamline the warehouse, logistics, planning and procurement functions within the company.

About the Supply Chain Manager Role:
In this role, you will be responsible in leading the supply chain team in the smooth and efficient storage and distribution of its goods. The Supply Chain Manager will support each function within the supply chain department to identify opportunities for improvement and the oversight of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the warehouse, planning and procurement team to ensure smooth operations and troubleshooting issues within the department
• Liaise with BUs to manage and optimisation of supply chain operations to suit operational needs (LMW)
• Manage 3PL vendors for all transportation and warehouse needs of the company and to carry out vendor performance management
• Ensure compliance of 3PL service provider to the needs of each BU in terms of storage and transportation specifications
• Analyse customer purchasing trends and advising the stock management, MRP and inventory management
• Spearhead the company’s digitalisation initiatives to further improve and optimise day-to-day operations and liaison with suppliers and clients
• Conduct annual reviews of 3PL contracts and negotiations with regards to the interest of the company

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess good leadership skills and strong hands-on knowledge in supply chain management, process improvement and supply chain digitalisation processes in the manufacturing industry.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in supply chain management, production planning, business administration or any related field
• Over 10 years of work experience in the chemical industry
• High proficiency in ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently whilst still being a team player
