As Global Supply Chain Manager (Shared Services) in Penang, you will shape the future of global procurement operations.   • Oversee the end-to-end global supply chain purchasing process by developing robust strategies for procuring goods and services while maintaining strict standards for quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Lead a team of buyers responsible for managing purchase orders and procurement activities across local and international markets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Implement Min-Max and STA planning methodologies to proactively prevent shortages or excess inventory situations within the supply chain.
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Planning (SCP) teams to create prioritisation plans for material allocation during periods of limited supply.
  • Ensure suppliers provide timely updates on demand and supply reports while maintaining strong relationships to secure ongoing commitment.
  • Identify bottlenecks within the supply chain process and implement solutions to improve material flow from suppliers to production lines.
  • Drive efficient supply chain models by working with SCP on supplier links, replenishment strategies, and optimising transit times for materials.
  • Monitor material constraints using Control Tower processes to ensure all requirements are met for Clear To Build status in manufacturing operations.
  • Support strategic projects aimed at improving scalability of the supply chain function while reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed purchasing reports, maintain accurate records for all purchase orders, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and champion process improvements throughout the department.
