What you'll do:

As a Sourcing Manager (FMCG), you will play a pivotal role in driving the procurement strategy of our client's company. Your primary responsibility will be sourcing raw and packaging materials that meet the company's production requirements.

• Lead the sourcing process for raw/packaging materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels with suppliers to ensure favourable contract terms.
• Continuously evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability metrics.
• Analyze and monitor market trends, pricing, and raw/packaging innovations to drive cost reductions and value optimization.
• Work closely with R&D, product development, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure raw/packaging specifications are met and optimized for cost, performance, and sustainability.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sourcing Manager (FMCG) position brings a wealth of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of raw/packaging materials across industries such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals or consumer goods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software like Excel or ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
