Sourcing Specialist - IT (Shared Services) Our client is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Sourcing Specialist for their IT division. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic and operational procurement support to business stakeholders, lead tactical sourcing initiatives, manage RFXs, new contracts and renewals, and undertake commercial and contractual negotiations.

What you'll do:

As a Sourcing Specialist - IT (Shared Services), your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational procurement support to various business stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will involve leading tactical sourcing initiatives, managing RFXs, new contracts, and renewals. You will also undertake commercial and contractual negotiations while working closely with Global Category Managers. Your role will also involve identifying savings & cost avoidance opportunities through effective supplier negotiations. Additionally, you will support the implementation of Category Strategies by gathering & analyzing procurement spend data as well as preparing detailed reports.

  • Provide strategic and operational procurement support to business stakeholders.
  • Lead tactical sourcing initiatives, manage RFXs, new contracts and renewals.
  • Undertake commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Work closely with Global Category Managers.
  • Identify and realise savings & cost avoidance opportunities through negotiations with suppliers.
  • Support the implementation of the Category Strategies.
  • Gather & analyze procurement spend data and prepare reports.
  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve policies and procedures.
  • Support other related supply chain projects.
  • Drive process improvements within the team.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sourcing Specialist - IT (Shared Services) position brings a wealth of experience in procurement or supply chain management from a globally operating organization. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in roles such as consulting or key account management, you have honed your negotiation, contracting, and procurement skills. Your ability to manage IT procurement projects is second to none. You are known for your proactive approach, eagerness to learn, self-motivation, solid financial acumen, excellent communication skills in English, customer-oriented mindset, structured work style, and analytical skills using Excel.
