Senior Category Sourcing Manager - HR (Financial Services) Our client is seeking a Senior Category Sourcing Manager with a focus on Human Resources within the Financial Services sector. This role is pivotal in managing commercial engagements with third-party vendors, ensuring efficiency and value creation.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Category Sourcing Manager - HR (Financial Services), your role will be central to the commercial management of how our client engages and spends money with its external third-party vendors in the Human Resources category. You will be responsible for influencing and executing sourcing activities across various business functions, demonstrating your expertise in negotiating favourable commercial outcomes. Your excellent stakeholder management skills will be utilised as you develop strong partnerships and innovative approaches to sourcing and vendor management. You will also take charge of end-to-end onboarding of vendors, ensuring that deals are constructed in a commercially sound, scalable manner.

  • Manage overall commercial engagement with external third-party vendors in the Human Resources category.
  • Influence and execute sourcing activities in collaboration with various business functions.
  • Deliver effective stakeholder management strategies.
  • Provide guidance in executing category strategies, objectives, and supply chain targets.
  • Take accountability for end-to-end onboarding of vendors.
  • Contribute to the strategy and overall achievement of functional objectives particularly in Commercial Value, TPRM, Sustainability and Strategic Vendor Management.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Category Sourcing Manager - HR (Financial Services) role brings a wealth of experience in sourcing/procurement within the Financial Services sector. Your ability to engage stakeholders within various business functions will be key to supporting priorities. Your proven excellence in negotiating favourable commercial outcomes will be crucial as you influence sourcing activities. Your experience managing end-to-end onboarding of vendors will ensure that deals are constructed in a commercially sound, scalable manner. Knowledge of ERP systems such as Ariba is highly desirable. A degree or equivalent qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Law is required.

  • Strong experience in sourcing/procurement within the Financial Services sector.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders within business functions.
  • Excellence in negotiating favourable commercial outcomes.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end onboarding of vendors.
  • Knowledge in ERP system (Ariba).
  • Degree or equivalent qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Law.
