Indirect Procurement Manager (FMCG)
Our client is in search of a highly organised and detail-oriented Indirect Procurement Manager to oversee their procurement process and supply chain activities within the FMCG sector. What you'll do:
As an Indirect Procurement Manager (FMCG), you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's procurement process and supply chain activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include executing RFQ/RFQ, tenders, and auctions based on purchase thresholds, reviewing bid proposals, negotiating supplier terms, preparing vendor selection recommendations, achieving annual cost savings targets, developing business contingency plans for key purchases, monitoring supplier performance, and working closely on vendor harmonisation programs. Your ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Execute RFQ/RFQ, tenders, and auctions based on purchase threshold
- Review bid proposals and negotiate supplier terms and conditions
- Prepare vendor selection recommendations based on Total Cost of Ownership
- Negotiate vendor contracts and execute supply agreements accordingly
- Achieve annual cost savings and value contribution targets
- Develop Business Contingency Plan for key purchases
- Monitor and report on supplier performance as per spend categories and supplier tiers
- Work closely on vendor harmonisation programs
