An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Procurement Operations Manager to join a leading global organisation. This role is pivotal in managing company-wide vendor master data setup, non-catalogue purchase requisition (PR), PO Management, driving catalogue utilization and management, and contract uploading as per the agreed service levels. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing monthly cadence to relevant stakeholders. What you'll do:

As a Procurement Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of procurement. You will lead a team of transactional buyers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively. Your responsibilities will also include supporting other buyers in their consolidated negotiations and supplier management actions. You will conduct procurement-related training sessions, guiding business users on procurement policies and procedures. Additionally, you will track performance metrics for the LBUs, preparing comprehensive dashboards that provide valuable insights into operational efficiency. Your role will also involve supporting the development of procurement policies and procedures aimed at improving productivity and driving continuous process improvement.

  • Manage day-to-day procurement operations and support new initiatives & project migration of new LBU’s.
  • Lead a team of transactional buyers on their day-to-day activities & ensure sufficient resources allocation for on-going day-to-day Operations.
  • Support other buyers in their consolidated negotiations and supplier management actions.
  • Conduct procurement related trainings and guidance on Procurement policies and procedures to Business Users.
  • Track and prepare performance dashboards for the LBUs.
  • Support the development of Procurement policies and procedures to improve productivity and drive continuous process improvement.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Procurement Operations Manager position brings a wealth of experience in procurement operations, with at least five years in the field. You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing or a related field. Your experience includes at least 1-2 years of people management, and you have worked in a global/shared services environment providing procurement-related services. You are proficient in Procurement/ERP systems, preferably Coups System, and have advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites & Analytics.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Purchasing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in procurement operations.
  • At least 1 - 2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience in a global / shared services or similar environment providing procurement related services.
  • Proficiency in any Procurement / ERP systems preferably Coups System.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites & Analytics skills.
