What you'll do:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding a dedicated team through complex quotation and order fulfilment processes while maintaining close collaboration with sales, manufacturing, and logistics partners.
- Lead and manage the customer service quotation and order processing teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer requests across Southeast Asia.
- Participate actively in weekly backlog meetings with regional representatives to drive parts turnover and resolve outstanding issues efficiently.
- Provide day-to-day operational support and guidance as the functional leader for all local and sub-regional service operations, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the preparation of quotations, pricing strategies, and discount approvals in accordance with established business rules.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Manufacturing, and third-party logistics partners to guarantee seamless execution of orders from initiation through delivery.
- Assess current customer service and quotation processes regularly, identifying areas for enhancement and developing future-state operating models aligned with group strategy.
- Implement value stream methodology and best practice frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma to drive efficiency gains and improve customer satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by coaching team members, supporting their development, and managing performance effectively.
- Champion operational excellence by monitoring key metrics, analysing trends, and initiating corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with import/export documentation requirements, incoterms, freight management protocols, and letter of credit shipment standards.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is required for this position.
- At least eight years of experience in supply chain management, parts operations, or order fulfilment is essential; three years must be at managerial level overseeing teams.
- Proficiency in SAP systems (SD Module), stock management tools, procurement processes, and related digital platforms is necessary for effective performance.
- Comprehensive understanding of incoterms as well as freight management principles is vital for handling international shipments smoothly.
- Demonstrated expertise in import/export documentation procedures including letter of credit shipment requirements ensures regulatory compliance.
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and spoken—are needed for successful collaboration across diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Lean methodologies or Six Sigma process improvement techniques is highly advantageous for driving operational enhancements.
- Strong people management abilities focused on coaching team members, supporting their development journeys, and managing performance constructively are crucial.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving sales teams, manufacturing units, and third-party logistics providers adds significant value.
