Strategic Procurement Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Procurement Manager with a focus on Sheet Metal. Your expertise in performing feasibility studies for localisation projects will be highly valued.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Procurement Manager specialising in Sheet Metal, you will play a crucial role in the sourcing, selection, and management of suppliers. Your negotiation skills will be put to good use as you handle contracts with suppliers. You will also monitor and administer supplier performance throughout the contract period. Additionally, you will conduct feasibility studies for localisation projects and perform technical inspections.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Assistant Procurement Manager role will bring a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. You should have at least 5 years of experience in procurement for sheet metal/wire mesh/plastics part. Your ability to work out costing and estimation will be essential, along with your capability to thrive under pressure. Experience in quality assurance will be considered an added advantage.
