What you'll do:

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play an integral role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across all aspects of the supply chain.

• Oversee daily warehouse operations in partnership with 3PL logistics providers to ensure accurate inventory management, safe handling practices, and timely order fulfilment for all customers.
• Drive regular cycle counts and annual stock takes to maintain exceptional inventory accuracy
• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock by collaborating with stakeholders to execute timely disposal or rework strategies that minimise waste.
• Conduct monthly key performance indicator reviews with logistics partners to evaluate warehouse productivity and service quality, identifying areas for improvement.
• Continuously identify opportunities for optimising warehouse layout and driving cost efficiencies through innovative solutions and best practices.
• Coordinate import and export shipments by ensuring full compliance with customs requirements, free trade agreements, and all relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Work closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to fulfil customer orders on time and in full (OTIF), maintaining strong communication throughout the process.
• Manage inbound shipments by tracking freight documentation, delivery schedules, and acting as the main point of contact for any logistical issues or disputes.
• Review logistics-related invoices for accuracy before submission for payment while monitoring transport costs to meet annual budget targets.

What you bring:

To excel as a Logistics Specialist in this dynamic environment, you will bring proven experience from similar roles where you have managed complex supply chain activities.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain operations within sectors such as third-party logistics providers, lubricants, automotive, FMCG or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or an equivalent discipline
• A strong understanding of import/export regulations alongside proven skills in inventory control and freight management is essential for effective performance.
• Hands-on experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) ensures you can navigate digital tools confidently in daily operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required; additional exposure to data analytics would be considered an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills enable you to engage effectively with both internal teams and external partners on a variety of topics.
